OMG absolutley beautiful,Ive got butterflies in my stomach!!! Your tanks looks great,I hope this hasn,t been asked but what size bulk-heads do you have on each overflow and what size return plumbing are you using? Are you worried about the Tunzes sturring up the sand alot??
jwccwj- The drains are 1 1/2 inch and the returns are 1 inch. As for the Tunzes, I have them positioned in a way that they are not blowing sand. They did at first but things have now settled in. The glass is 1/2 inch all around and 3/4 inch for the bottom.Originally posted by jwccwj
How thick is the tanks glass?? I Quess you do not need overly thick glass because its euro-braced,im guessing 3/4 inch.
ReeferMonkey- I had one for many years and he did not jump, although that was an in wall tank with euro-bracing. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope they stay happyOriginally posted by ReeferMonkey
Not worried about the leopards jumping?
Hop- I will try a get a shot of the full room and post it soon.Originally posted by Hop
Very nice build. How about an overview shot of the room? The colors are very similar to what I'm doing and am currious how everything looks now that there is water and rock in there with some light.
Zoos- I know the reddish one is an African but I'm not sure about the other one.Originally posted by Zoos
Very nice leopards
ones Atlantic, and the other is African?
Thanks jwccwj. The tank has been up 5 weeks and there really isn't much I would do differently. It would be nice to have a ceiling fan in that room to keep the pressure off of my chiller in the summer. The installation would have been much easier before I set the tank up but I think I will eventually do it. The Sfilgoli is working out great so far but the ACLS is a bit too pricey for my taste.Originally posted by jwccwj
Beautiful reefbum it really suits that room, awsome job.So now thats its been up a while is there anything you would do differently? How satisfied are you with the sfilgoli and have you considered the ACLS dimming units.
Thanks for the pics...
It is a very cool piece and I heard it grows at a decent clip.Originally posted by GSMguy

Very classy!!!! Have you ever thought about using the pegging technique? If I could do it all over again, that would be one aspect that I would change.
