I just wanted to say thanks to all who offered help and advice for the absentee reefkeeper. Especially teen and Billsreef! (I still owe you a beer!:beer:
After a month away, my non-aquatic friend did an excellent job of keeping everything alive! No tragedies, all fish and coral are alive and well.
(I thought my firefish were goners, and no one wanted to tell me, but after being home for 3 days.... there they were!:wave: :wave:
Pretty hardy fish, I guess!)
There were no problems with anything else, except that my ongoing algae battle in the 15 gal has gotten a little worse. I knew that would happen whether I went on vacation or not...:sad2:
Anyway, I really do appreciate the help that was offered from all of the members here! Even though my tank-sitter is computer-illiterate, I gave his roommate the web address for this forum just in case , but he did a fine job with your tips alone. Unless he emailed someone and didn't tell me.
