very nice stand Jon,is it one without a center brace? Thats the way I'd go with a custom stand..

Nope, no brace. One of the doors will have a piece of wood on them to make up the gap between the doors. I really like the wide open look. Plus it will give my big *** room to get in there for work. He put a piece on angle iron on the stand just to make sure we are safe for a very long time (not that I need to worry, its built like a tankk).

The small area is where the mag 9.5 will be. The water for that will be 8 " deep. The main part of the sump (skimmer, filter sock, heater and what ever else) will be 9" deep. The silicone job isnt great but I needed to save money and do it myself for now and do what I could.

Anyone has any ideas of things that can be changed please tell me. Thank you!

Doors look great! Really big tho! As for the switch box, ill have two of them. One on the stand and one on the cabnet. These will run things like the returen pump, skimmer, feed pumps, calcium reactor and such. I will have all the lights, heaters and other things on my ACjr. Im not really the go to guy when it comes to eletrical and plumbing stuff but im going to give it a go. Ill keep the pictures coming!

Really coming along nice. Excellent choice going with raised panel doors and false center brace. It does make getting in there much eaiser.nice job.

Thank you Gary and everyone else!

Now a question. What kind of sand does everyone use? What im looking to have is SPS on the rocks and areas of zoas, chalices, and acans on the bottom. I will have a good deal of flow and I dont want sand to blow around. Im looking for around 3-4" in the tank and im going to stick to the white sand. What size sand?
