"Bali" Clownfish

These are not for sale! I repeat these are not for sale! I just want to show that while there is some debate over lesser grades/quality Bali Aquarich exports they also send out some awesome clownfish more so then the lesser quality!

I hate to say that I see pattern blindness in this selection of fishes. It's like many are helmet blind with US bred picassos and black color blind with C-Quest onyx.

The patterns are awesome crazy and I would say that I could appreciate a crazy pattern Bali more than the US bred Doni's with helmet. But the colors are not as rich as those coming in 2-3 years ago. The orange on most are faded and only a few have that nice rich orange. Dorsal fins are short on most of these.

Here's a good example of a breeder raised fish who must consider this fish one of their best to put back into broodstock to further their breeding program for better black color.

Wow... I never noticed the short dorsal! It's crazy once you compare all CP fish to wild ones. Nothing can beat mother nature.

The grading system Bali uses is really arbitrary and not much science behind it. That clown would be in the A category.

The problem is some vendors when they get clowns in don't honor the grading system and mark things that they are not which ultimately screws everything up. Just no accountability and people love to destroy the system.

Hello guys,
I just got this really nice pair of clownfish that were sold to me as as Bali Picasso clowns P1, I just wanted to know what you think? Are they really Grade A?
Thanks a lot!
