BAR frag swap

Hi everyone, Bar is having a regional swap on 2/12. If you never been to one you have to make this one. This swap is going to be huge with people from all over northern California attending it and I am planing to be there. We can car pool too so lmk

NP Jeremy, I just recheduled my family get together to a different month so I can make it to the swap ... LOL but they don't need to know that. I just hope nothing else gets in my way.

How does the swap work? They describe it as person A picks then B then C, etc. Then it snakes back the other way.

Seems like A would pick then who ever's frag he took gets the next shot, etc. A way to ensure that people who brought more desirable frags get first crack. Just a thought.

You're missing the point, it's not about who gets the nicest stuff, it's about sharing and diversifying the frag pool. A lot of us who bring really nice stuff don't even swap, we have far too many corals as it is plus BAR has a prop program that adds frags to the swap as well.

The swap is only about 2 weeks away, if you are planing to go, please make sure to pay by using paypal by Feb 5th or you will have to pay more at the door. Also have atleast three frags ready and healed for the swap. Fresh cut corals might not be accepted.

So far we have four people going, I think their's space for at least 1 or 2 more people ... reserve your seat before it's gone.

The plan is Bob will use a van, and we all chip in for Gas. Maybe ... a definite maybe we will drop by Neptune before heading home, this way we don't have to make two separate trips to the bay area. We need to pick up corals for the next meeting's raffle.
