Bean's 300 Gallon AGE Build

How quiet are the overflows?

Fairly...no gurgling or loud noise when it hits the sump chamber, but you can hear a little noise of water in the drain pipes. Not real noisy but its rhere. Im gonna play with it some more. Tank is pretty quiet overall but you can hear it.

Congradulations, looks good, but where are the 300 wires cords and hoses needed to run everything under the tank?

Looking good Cody. The pipe into the sump cut it at an angle 45 degrees or more usually stops the noise.
What I have found with my overflow is every couple of weeks the level in the tank rises and overflow drips. I have not yet figured out if it is back pressure causing it. Keep an eye out. Just fyi

Now all I really hear is the water entering the socks. They have silencers which help but I still hear the water trickling. Overall though the tank is not noisy. Much less noise than my 120. I dont hear the return pump at all.

The tank cleared up nice. Im cycling with Brightwell MB7 and Reef Bio Fuel.

Temp until I can afford a nice cabinet. Ran cat 5 into the room from my router through the attic. That sucked but its done. Apex updated the date and time... need to connect to fusion and set up some outlets now.

The ato res is a 20 gallon brute. I have 15 gallons in it. Been evaporating a little less than a gallon a day at 74 degrees. No heater atm.

About 160 watts total right now. No heater no lights no skimmer.

Whoa nice Cody! Finally she's wet.

I probably missed it from the posts, but where are you holding your fish and corals? When are you planning on putting them in?

I dont have any livestock. Sold and gave the reat away to friends. I do have some fancy mushrooms at a friends for safe keeping. I have to start over.

I added Dr. Tims Ammonium Chloride this evening. 4 drops per gallon to reach 2 mgl . 1200 drops sooo I counted the first 400 and just dumped the rest of the 2 oz bottle in.

Been adding MB7 and Biofuel daily for about a week and a half.

Going to test the ammonia level later tonight.

I have the Tunze 6155 and the Stream 3 6150 running at about 50% each.
