It's still amazing how small that sump looks compared to your tank -- And that's not a small sump!
Color scheme looks good cody. Devil in the details -- I'm a weirdo who'd like an exposed sump area. IMHO, don't skin it! Put in those remote controlled strip LED's that you can set to make the tank exude ambiance.
I think exposed sump area's have a lot of promise for looks -- Unless the wife disagrees, then it's not worth it lol

Ive got a crawling munchkin now so gonna have to cover it... maybe glass inserts or somethin.
Yeah the sump is bigger than my last tank haha but still lots of room under the stand.
I dry fit the returns... just need to glue it up. Plastic dipping the clevis hangers now. I found nylon screws wing nuts and all thread to hang them with. I already have the strut cut and painted. For the manifold support under the stand. Should be pretty slick. Credit the Grun on that one.

If anyone ever wants to plasti dip something... dont buy the spray. Get the liquid stuff in the can. The spray had a texture to it. The liquid version is much thicker and dried super smooth.

4 coats. Having fun looking for something else to dip in rubber haha. The all thread is temporary on those spring nuts. Once its dry Ill unscrew it and replace with nylon all thread I ordered.

All the pipe on the backside is glued up. Ill work on the underside tomorrow.

You have siphon breaks drilled in to that? Those check valves will fail.

Why didnt you use the reverse check valve? My excuse is that I didnt know about it before and now im just to lazy.
