Why not get Tierra Anthias? More mellow than lyretails and better looking too

The bimacs are pretty chippy so not sure adding a more mellow species would have been a good plan. Plus they are similar color looking for more variation. I guess we will see how it goes.

I know right? The two bimacs that were hiding are coming out a little more each day.

I've got some work to do on the QTs tonight when I get home. Cut some foam for the sides, calibrate the heaters, add the air stones.

I have Mike's RKL... I wish there was a way to set up multiple temp probes. Going to use it for one tank, and wing the other two.

Yes separate. Absolutely not hahaha

The tanks will also have air stones but I forgot to buy the tubing. Also Seachem Matrixx but I need some media bags which I also forgot to buy.

They are running at 1.020 with 1ppm Copper Power. Sponge filter with maxi, heater, and pvc fittings.

I did. A pump I guess. I didn't feel comfortable putting a tank on the top shelf.

Looks good Cody. Those shelves will rust pretty quickly, especially if you use an air stone. You might want to cover them with plastic shelf paper to help keep the mist away as much as possible. Just make sure the paper does not have an insicteside as some do now. Without additional protection I know they will not last 5 years. I had heavier shelving under the 3 60 gallons tank I used to have set up like that and they did not hold up well. I did not use air stones and the shelf itself was plywood that I sealed very well. The up rights and metal shelf supports were very badly corroded in some areas when I took it down.

Yeah someone else pointed that out, this is not going to be a permanent setup. I'll probably keep it going until spring so I can get my tank stocked quicker. I'll move to a single QT down the road that would be more of a permanent solution.

Pop pop pop until your entire tank drops dead. I don't have money to waste these days so if I wiped out my fish and have a hard time re stocking.

I agree it is too risky! Especially with a large tank full of nice fish.

I added the Seachem Matrix and the air stones to the quarantine tanks. Copper Power is at about 1ppm plus or minus. Salinity is at 1.019. Temp acclimated the fish and dropped them in. I plan to raise the copper level to 1.75 over the next few days.

Quarantine Tank 1- 9 Anthias
Quarantine Tank 2- Pintail Fairy and Firefish
Quarantine Tank 3- Exquisite Fairy, Firefish, and Royal Gramma.

Thanks. I used Brightwell MB7 and Fritz Turbo Start 9. Everyone is eating fish eggs. The lyretails are like tiny little puppies. Super cute. At least for now! The gramma is still pretty shy and didn't notice it eat yet but everyone else is doing good.

That QT setup is awsome! Thanks for haveing me over and letting me drool all over your system Cody. Really a treat to see and gave me several inspirations for my work in progress tank.
