beer thread

Best thing about brilbeck's is how close they are to ABC REEFS. Like 10 small blocks. Lots o bombers and they do singles. Any particular brands you seek?

umm KBS but I guess they don't distribute to NY :(. I'd love to get some SN Big Foot, Sam the beer man had it for 2 days and sold out. any type of gueuze maybe cantillon, Some of the more different Stone. Some of the more different Lagunitas that aren't IPA's...lol...DFH 120, should be coming out shortly. and many more...lol

bourbon county stout would be great too but I doubt they will have that.

I'm cool with being an enabler...lol..everyone has to enable some one atleast once.

Fatrip I would check out finger lakes beverage center. They have a beer selection that is second to none. I stop there just about once a week. They have a nice selection of bombers, they sell just about everything they carry as single, and have a nice rotating growler line.

Day late but lots of lagunitas flavors and stones. Tons of different bombers. No SN BF. not sure what lbs or gueuze is so imght have missed it. My head and liver are swirling. Information overload.

Hope it helps a little Vince.

I love beer...right now in my fridge I have Molson Ex, Blue Lights, Yuengling, Harp, Coronna, Coors Light, Smithwicks and some Seagram fruit alcohol punch things.

I do like MicroBrews, but I am pretty picky. I had a Flat tire out in Colorado and it was excellent. There are a few from Quebec that are pretty good too, but very high in alcohol content like Maudite and Trois Pistole. They can be found at Wegmans. I like the Imperial from Costa Rica. They carrie that one at Brilbecks by Colemans in Syracuse.

I.P.A and fruity beers....not so much. Like at Empire Brewing Co, on average, I like 2 beers out of their beer menu.

We all have our own tastes

Have a beer!!!

-Sweet:love1:

Cool thanks Mark I'll have to take the trip. KBS is by Founder's, Kentucky Breakfast Stout, and a gueuze is a blend of 2-3 year old Lamibic beer with a young under 1 year old Lambic, its a Belgian thing...lol...

Also found a place in Scranton, PA, bout and hour from me the other way that has the Founder's and such. I think I am going to check them out first the head to Cuse' a bit later. I'll have to stop into ABC on the way.

I have just had last night the best stout I have ever taste and quite possibly the best beer I have had. Founders KBS, wow!!! The coffee, roasted barley and oaky bourbon hit after a bit of hoppyness with a very mellow alcohol taste. I can't wait to see what it's like in a year.

I've had a few tastes of a few Founders and they were all good. What's the place in Scranton that has them? Might have to stop in on the next trip through.

Jessup Beverage center. Its 1019 Constitution Ave # C
Jessup, PA 18434-1300
(570) 383-2200 they open at 11:00am

Yes I have had the KBS, Breakfast stout which was so smooth and I could drink it for breakfast...lol, and the double trouble IIPA. all were great, they do something right over there in grand rapids. Also if you like IPA's the new 11' terrapin rye squared is amazingly good.
