best 175w lamp

i'm going to be replacing my 175w halide bulbs soon and have no clue what to go with. i currently have ushio 10k bulbs, i'm happy with the growth but dont really like the color of them, i'm leaning towards a 14 or 15k bulb that still has a decent PAR. your expierences and advice would help me alot. (pic would be awsome!) Thanks!!

I did some research in the same area for my set-up and decided to go with the Aqualine Buchke 10k but test show them to be at the color range 13k and they have a good par another one I had thought about was the Iwasaki 15k both have great par blowing away the others

I would suggest a look at sanjays website.

He has not test all of the available bulbs... but there is a good selection. It looks like the AB 13k, Iwasaki 15k, and helios 12.5K are you only bluer choices in that par range. You may even gain some par with the iwasaki 15K bulbs, depending on your ballast and setup.

It seems many have been giving rave reviews to the Iwasaki 14,000K.
