best HOB skimmer for 25 gal tank

As the title states what is a good one to go for?

I've read that people really like the eshopps psk 75h. A little overkill for a 25. Is this for the same tank in your other thread?

Check out aquamax skimmers. But alot of times on a tank that size you can get away with just your weekly water changes and not need a skimmer.

Honestly I'd just run an aquaclear 50 or something like that.

reef octopus, aqua c, eshopps. they all make very good skimmers. it all really depends on what your looking for. personally i like the cpr hob they always worked well for me and it is a simple design that is easy to clean

I have one of these on my system and love it. It's a bit overkill for your 25 but if you're like me I upgraded my 20L to a 40b at one of the Petco $ per gal sale. I've got a 20g sump and this HOB skimmer was perfect to leave me more room for extra rock for more filtration. Pet Solutions has the best price on them, they're normally $149 ish
