With only 150w of mh on a 90g, I would definitely put that clam in the rockwork somewhere. Croceas are one of the most light-demanding clams...

It will quickly attach. Croceas prefer to be in the rockwork. Find a little depression in the rockwork that will hold the clam. Dont wait, or else you will have to worry about detaching it from the starboard. At least put him on a small rock, so he can attach to that and you can move that to where you want.

Find a small flat rock, place him on the rock, and place the rock on the BB.

That's what I did w/ my Crocea.
