Hello All,
My name is Raymond friends call me Teecs. I am a first time reefer and wanted to introduce my self. I have been working on starting my first time this last year. So I been buying equipment little by little. Now I finally started my cycle about a week ago. Looking for some advice and maybe some help with any questions or issues. I know a lot of questions I've had have been answered with the search button lol. So I am aware that I need to try and find the answers first. Anyway wanted to leave you guys with what my setup is and how it looks as of now. Opinions are welcome not saying I will follow them all. But I will hear all options and make my own choice.

DAY 1
*cleaning *ran the bio with tap water and vinegar for 24 hours ( read this on the forums that would be safe to use vinegar
*
DAY 2
Scrubbed the tank and *dumped all the water *out *and then made my first Mod. Which was taking out the over flow tab and both false floors in chamber 1 and 2. After I removed it refilled it with the vinegar *and tap water again.*

DAY 3
Well today I got my order from Aquariumparts.com need to replace some of the parts of the tank. I needed new fans because *they were both running like crap. Also I got the a/c adaptor for the moon lights but got the wrong one so I hope I can send it back and get the right one. Lastly I got the replacement air wood/stone for the skimmer and the sponge for chamber 3.
*
*By the way Aquariumparts.com had super fast shipping 3 days and sent to Alaska is pretty quick lets see if they make the exchange the adaptor.*

*
To be*continued.*
*
Tank: Biocube 14g stock lights ( will upgrade later ) moon light upgraded (stock ones broke)
Chamber 1: EHEIM Jager Aquarium Thermostat Heater 50w
Chamber 2: intank media basket floss, purigen, carbon
Chamber 3: MJ 900
-Apex controller lite with 8 power outlets and temp prob (ph prob in the way)
-Hydor Koralia Nano Aquarium Circulation Pump, 240
- 11lbs of reef rock 2.1 with 1lbs of live rock from my LFS
- 12 +/- lbs sand
I also add some bio-spira to help cycle
Well that's all I can think of as of now. This is just my first tank and I'm sure I'll soon out grow it. But I think it's a good start so far. I'll leave you guys with some pics.
Update********* oct 23
So today I installed my BRS PH probe and Neptune probe holder.
The holder was a lot bigger then I expected. So I had to place it in the main display not really what I wanted but will work for now.
