ezhoops , that guys prices are way overpriced.

you can get a black osc from ORA for alot less.

I get the insider deal, but I know

No that is a pair. maybe the website is out-dated. Hey I'm not defended the guy but I can tell you in this part of the world $80 is a fair deal, most other LFS sell pairs for upwards of $100.

That's just how it is around here.

As for ORA, I've asked many a LFS in my area to order from ORA and they said they would and never did and always gave me some poor excuse or took the opp. to rip ORA and their livestock.

That's just how it is around here.

if you order them from live aquaria...they will be juv....so no worries on getting a pair..they will get allong just fine...they are more of a brown when they are small. There are a lot of look a likes out there most commonly they go for about $40-100 ea in lfs i know that is a big range but i have scene a pair of adults got for $200 and sell...they are sharp looking when they get big!

$200 for a breeding pair would not be out of "reasonable". IF they were mature and breeding.

Lets face facts. Aussie Land is not letting any of these fish out of the country. And the waters where they occur is infested with man-eating sharks, which tends to deter collectors.

If it was not for the current CB specimens, this variant would be like A. omanensis.

well for a breeding pair , i agree 200 is not bad, but that site said 80 for 1. which , even with online pricess is high.

if anyone sold a breeding black pair for 200. i would be the first inline.

I have a pair living in my sump..they have been paired up forever, waiting for the to breed any day now..poor guys, they have to live in my sump..they are gorgeous though..jet black and white..
