Black spots on Clownfish

Sorry, no pics.

I've got a small false perc (i think) and it's developed a lot of black spots all over. Only on the orange parts of its body though. They may not be complete black but a dull dull dark brownish orange. Theres a big concentration behind its right fin.

any ideas?

do u have any corals in the tank?

anemone? frogspawn? hammer?

Yes, theres a hammer, torch, and 2 frogspawns. He stays near the torch wont swim in it. i think its sting is too strong i guess.

i know clowns can get the black marks from stings from anemones. so this might be what yours has from your LPS corals.
