I bought a 4 inch male blonde naso and he is looking great and is eating tons of food, yet he only gets somewhat fat in one area of his body, the rest is super skinny and you can see his spine,i had a naso a while back he did not have this problem,im thinking internal parasite or effects of cyanide.any ideas, any input would be appreciated.

Any white stringy poop? That is a symptom of internal/intestinal parasites.

Could just be he needs time to fatten up. Sometimes it takes awhile.

I have not seen any of his poop,so im not sure but he was not this skinny when i bought him,but as i said he is fat in one spot, really skinny everywhere else

Im feeding mysis shrimp twice a week,i put nori in all day long,i feed veggie flakes 3-4 times a day,and i feed veggie pellets and marine meat pellets every day

I know, and he eats it all,i know over feeding can be just as bad as under feeding but i just am trying to get him to fatten up.

I noticed yesterday that my naso had blood on his lips, not a lot, just like little scratches, the blood went away very quickly but he has like pieces of skin hanging out i his mouth,he still eats, but not as aggressively,i think his mouth might be bothering him,it kinda looks like he is getting fatter too.he is alone so i dont know why he had bloody lips and why he has skin hanging out of his mouth, maybe he cut it on a rock

Maybe try soaking its food in garlic. Garlic is a natural anthelmintic and should help it pass any worms it might be hosting. If it does have stringy poo, you might consider praziquantel in QT as well.

Sounds to me that he is eating a lot of food (because he is hungry) but that he is getting insufficient nutrition (because its all processed food)

Try giving him a goodly sized piece of lettuce (natural food) once every couple of days.

The bloody lips may well be a result of him frantically scraping at rocks trying to get enough "real" food to satisfy his hunger.

Can you post a picture? If the stomach is enlarged, but the rest of the body thin, then I agree that it is intestinal parasites.

That's a bummer! FWIW, I have always found the Naso to be more difficult to keep than generally reputed. I have a friend who I think could keep one healthy in his toilet - not me. I generally have problems with them maintaining weight and given their tank size requirements, have tended (though not always) to steer clear of them.
