Yes! I am planning on adding a few more members to the clean up crew. As for fish, I'm still debating which one I would like to get. I suppose some small clowns would work, but eventually they would out-grow. We'll see, though!
I wonder if that will fit on the back with the stock light mount. The only one I could find that fit was the red sea nano filter that I got. The finnex pico filter was a close second but still too big. Let me know how it works, that would be a nice little upgrade.
It seemed small enough. If it doesn't fit, I bought it from Petsmart because they didn't have any in, so I can just return it if all else fails. Where did you find the Red Sea one? Aren't they discontinued?
Yeah they are, I don't know why though, every review I have seen has been stellar other than a couple complaining about noise. I don't hear any noise at all. I got it from petdiscounters.com just kind of took a gamble that they were a real site and it shipped the same day.
Added a Koralia Nano to the tank today. Everything seems to be liking the additional flow. Also, I replaced the stock filter with an Azoo Aquatics HOB filter. This thing is TINY! Pictures to come tomorrow when the lights turn back on.
To answer your question from my thread. I think a Par 38 would be a MUCH better fit for what you are trying to do with this tank. While the overall wattage would be the same on a 5 LED bulb you would get the optics which would focus the light better. At that point though I would sell what you have now and get a Mr. Aqua 7.5g Cube. They are cheap, and you can use all the same equipment/aquascape but gain a little water volume.
