i did i am testing this in my 70g as it's full either hair algae or its bryopsis. the strands tell me it's bryopsis. Cross finger i won't get it in my 220.

I've come to the conclusion that Bryopsis is generally unavoidable in this hobby without super strict, and long quarantine. I hope this magic elixir is the real deal!

day 12 I'm finally almost down to no visible sign of bryopsis. i have one spot with a tiny tiny bit left. Hopefully it goes away and i can put everything online again.

Every since I started keeping a long spined black sea urchin I have not had Bryopsis in the main tank, just the overflows. FYI

I have one, and also a pin cushion. My long spine will eat any GHA that pops up, and my pin cushion only touches coralline. Neither one touches the small patch of Bryopsis.
For $20.99 and free shipping I'm giving this treatment a go.

I agree. I hope it doesn't kill macro but based on how it eons on bryopsis, I suspect it will kill macro as well. I'm going to have to take my macro out during the dosing

It will likely kill off your macro.
It's already clearly been posted in the thread that this will kill basically any and all algae, macro or micro. it stops production of cellular walls in the algae.
i know its alot of pages now guys, but if you re-read the bulk of the first few pages, it will answer every question that has been re-asked here in the last page and a half.
not trying to be rude, but please try not to clutter the thread, lets try to keep it as updates and pertinent new information. links to where to get the drug are posted, aswell as dosing instructions from a few different people.
As for me, I've left my LED lights on most of the time for my dose. My thickest portion of where bryopsis was, is almost entirely gone ( its the last remaining bryopsis ), but there's still a tiny patch that's holding on, its been getting better day by day, so hopefully it just needs time to break down.
Hoping that my leds don't actually have too much UV and ended up breaking down the medication or something. I've only been running them for 2-3 hours a day to see if it helps with the last tiny patch.

Is this a typo?
I thought the dose was 150mg per 30liters (7.9gals)
65gals ÷ 7.9gals = 8.22 x 150mg = 1233mg
I have been following this thread because I have a major bryopsis issue as well. I have a 400g sps and a 75 mixed coral linked to a common sump. I dose 9800mg tonight hoping that it will end the bryopsis once and for all. Given it takes a few days to take effect, I will get some pictures up over the next couple days.

Following as well. I will be placing an order tonight from payless pet products. Hopefully it gets to me in a few days. I started this hobby keeping reef tanks in 2003. Over the years I've seen many hobbyists with bryopsis in their tanks and the battle and toll it had on them. For the past year I've been battling bryopsis trying different approaches and at the same time trying to be as diligent as possible with my tank maintainance. All in all bryopsis has really taken its toll on me and I've just about given up until coming across this.
At this point I'm willing to try anything that will eradicate bryopsis. I've lost several sps, zoas and lps so far. Right now my fish are more important than anything else being that I've had a couple since I started in the hobby.
Anyways I'm all in and will post my before pics and progress as well like others have once I receive my order. Congrats to those who have had success and to the op for sharing this treatment.
