BTA Hosting my Damsel!

So, my brown bubble tip anemone is hosting my black domino damsel!

It's so cool to walk by the tank at night and see my damsel nestled into a bed of long peach & green colored tentacles.

Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?

i believe that that is common among damsels. You should be careful if you have clowns in the tank because the damsel might attack them when they try to host.

They don't even try to. I looked at a chart of what species of clowns the BTA's typically host, and my oscellaris clowns were not on the list. Also, the damsel was on the anemone from day 1.

I got a flower pot for the clowns, since i've seen them host clowns too, but so far they haven't ventured into it yet.

This is not uncommon for Domino Damsels to do this.I think that they are the closeset relitive ot clowns becauce of size and shape and most importintly behiavior.

i have also had a damsel try to host a anenome but the clowns had already claimed it so didnt really go over very well with the clowns but the damsel always tried..lol
