ive had this GBTA for about two days now, when he was firt pu in he held down to the rock no problem, but now he keeps letting go and floating around the tank, his mouth is closed and he seems healthy otherwise, is there something im not doing?

Yep, it is bleached.

Would be helpful if had some info about your tank.

What size
How long set up
Type of lights
And water parameters (( and "fine" "good" "perfect" isn't an answer, need actual numbers.

Bleached anemones can be brought back to health with proper care, so it isn't hopeless.

yeah i bought it bleached out,
its in a 5 gallon nano right now its been running for two months, shallow tank only 7" tall with 100watts of PC lighting,
last time i checked ammonia 0
nirates 0
and nitrites was showing a little maybe .2 my test kit isnt great

is there something else i should test for?

how much and what type of flow do you have? Could be an issue in a small tank like yours...

maybe try rearranging some rocks so there's an overhang where it can get out of the flow/light to attach itself and expose itself to as much light/flow as it wants/needs...

Would be nice to know your salinity level and the pH.

But to be honest, a 5 gallon tank is just to small. It is hard enough to bring back a bleached anemone in good conditions. Having it in that small tank is going to be adding a lot of stress to it. The water is really hard to keep stable. And besides the fact that if it does recover it will get way too big.
