That cowboy pic cracks me up every time I see it still. When I first saw reef-free last... what?, almost a year ago, that pic just made me crack up.
The only major problem I see with the reef free are the pumps. Those pumps just dont have the air intake of some higher quality brands. You can tell because the necks are very narrow in comparison the the bodies. So even with the bubble plates, they arent a 'BK' or 'ATB' or even 'ATI', and you cant really just swap out the pumps because then the necks will get too much air. The SWC extreme is still the best bang for the buck it seems.
Glad to see the ER bubble-plate model is close to being out... its been a while since I heard about it (I was bugging them on the sponsor forum).
As for the voltage converters...

BMH800 have four air intakes. The power only 128W.

This would be an End for BK,H&S, Euroreef, Deltec and other brands, they may even go out of business. China Rules.

How many people do you know having BK in their system. But i would bet a lot of people have Seaclone in their system. More than what you can even imagine. Why? because its cheap. Nobody cares if it's made of Acrylic or Celar PVC.
Its easy to rip people off in the U.S, and this is exactly what the European Companies are doing. Most of their customers are from U.S. Why? you already know the answer.
Chinese skimmers are not knock off's. Today, most skimmers have the same shape. BK, H& S, And Deltec , even Euroreef and Octopus look exactly the same. Reeflo is another copy too. So, HAVE SOME RESPECT AND DON'T CALL THE KNOCKOFFS..
By the way, Don't compare the Rolex with A protein skimmer.

Why are you getting so heated over some plastic? Lets call a duck a duck. I can find pretty much every design that all the skimmers you listed being knocked off. Prove to me its not.

Save me the principals on how or what a skimmer works I think I know the differance.

Rubbish...
The most important Part on a skimmer is the Pump and i dont see good China-Pumps where running many years, silent and without problems....
You have a bad Pump, you destroyed a good skimmerdesgin, you have a good Pump, you have good skimmate in a bad skimmer desgin. Thats German Rules....
It is possible for make cheaper skimmers in Germany or USA ? Yes,... when the workers become the same Money as China-workers.. 0,80$/hour... that´s the Problem..
