Wow, some fantastic photos here guys, Jesse you've got photos of bugs I've never seen before, pretty awesome! Ken, that second spider shot is great, terrific lighting and awesome detail on the eyes.

Thanks Jordan. For that shot, filtered sunlight was just beginning to hit the back of the web, and my daughter was holding a 40" silver reflector aiming light back onto the front of the spider, while I was trying to manually focus to adjust for the slight breeze.

I love the hair on the spider, the spikey legs and the pattern on the top of the abdomen.

What is that thing!? Almost looks like the bug version of a nudibranch.

Both are caterpillars and will form some lind of moth. Cute little buggers.
