Wow, some fantastic photos here guys, Jesse you've got photos of bugs I've never seen before, pretty awesome! Ken, that second spider shot is great, terrific lighting and awesome detail on the eyes.
 
Thanks Jordan. For that shot, filtered sunlight was just beginning to hit the back of the web, and my daughter was holding a 40" silver reflector aiming light back onto the front of the spider, while I was trying to manually focus to adjust for the slight breeze.

I love the hair on the spider, the spikey legs and the pattern on the top of the abdomen.

Nice, I'm looking forward to when my son is big enough to be an assistant in the field! The detail of the hair/legs is indeed great. :beer:
 
This was my first outdoor macro, about 4 days after I got my lens. I just have a big thing for mayflies for some reason.
