u know the name?

Nice Tuka's, good luck with them

Thanks Brett.
They are feeding on frozen mysis and only that.
Hm feeding small amounts multiple times daily. So worried about PO4 rising. I'm keeping an eye.
They are tiny guys about 2 inches from head to tail.
First time iv kept em so thought will hav a better chance with juveniles :)

You'll be fine if you can get them to eat large pieces. It's easier said then done but the best thing you can do is get them to eat small pellets so you can use an auto feeder

Thanks Brett.
Yep it's not gonna be easy to get em to eat pellets
I am feeding Boyd's Vitadiet it's the fine granules version, the other fishes love it, but the tiny tukas they take it in their mouth and spits it out :angryfire:

I started with 3 and only one of them ate pellets enough to keep its weight. The one I have left is solid now. I wish I had 10 of them just like her.

Yes Brett I get what ya mean. Even among my 4 tukas only 2 are adventurous and chasing after food. The other 2 run under a overhang at the sight of me :( and stays there, eats the morsels that floats right into their mouth, lazy guys?:worried:
So the bold 2 are getting a good share and doing ok. The other 2 I'm not so sure long term :worried:

Okkk you guys the Holidays are here :D
What's No. 1 on ya guys wishlist??? Equipments or livestock??
Share it here.
You never know Santa (or your wife :D) might go through my thread :D

Hi Brett,
The Potter's is doin ok. But eating only mysis and algae sheets. Nothin else. This specimen seems pretty wild and refuses to eat pellets or flakes
The tangs are giving him competition and he is timid guy. I'd prefer he swims about more freely, but he doesn't. I think the Potter's are the shyest dwarf iv ever seen.
He is still maintaining weight, but can't say he is
plump. He is on the watch list still and any sign of weakness I'm gonna transfer him and save him.
He hasn't bothered my LPS yet. But then again he is a tiny guy so never know when his attitude might change :D

Nice new toys Noob, let me know how you like the prodibio stuff.

Hiya Brett,
Thanks :)

And about Prodibio, iv been using them from the beginning of the setup. This was just reinforcements :)
I am happy with Prodibio. Cycling was a breeze and one main reason I could start stocking SPS early.
But cost can be a limiting factor for bigger tanks I guess. But it sure is a quality product and came recommended by some successful reefers iv known.
