Nice multi, didn't look like it was gonna go well for a minute there, LOL.

Thanks Brett.
I had done a bit of reading and from the info I got the halfback is more aggressive than the multicolor. So the plan was to get a smaller halfback introduce him first then add a bit bigger multicolor.
Hope it works out, the multicolor I got is bit bigger than what I wouldv liked, but its really hard to get a juvenile one.
I'm watching them constantly if any signs of bad behavior one of them gonna go in the bigger tank. Yep the good boy will get the bigger home :D

sweet fish, I will grow balls one day and add a couple dwarfs

Hi Kevin
Why not! Your tank doesn't have that many LPS right?
The dwarfs don't harm SPS, mayb an occasional nip but no damage done.
I think you would benefit, they keep picking on the rocks and glass panes relentlessly. Makes me wanna leave the right side pane uncleaned coz both my angels does seem to like watever is growing on that glass pane. Its full of the unmistakable lip marks :spin3:

New tank update...

Finally...after uncertainly and bit of searching iv found 19mm glass.
Tanks gonna be rimless, braceless and gonna make it 165cm long

Nice!!

How many dwarves you have in there now??....

Hmmm, you could get seven and one personatus :).... think disney :)

hey Bello,

thanks bro!
:eek2: 7 in my tiny tank...the tank would be a war zone :D
Well these two will be the last il be adding in this tank. Two of my dream fishes...waited quite long to aquire them :D

In the new tank...i will be adding a Flame angel which has been there with me almost 2 years now, he is a big boy...and currently he is in holding :D
And maybe a Potter's angel if i am able to find one which has been properly acclimatized and been feeding on flakes and frozen food on a routine basis...

Personatus...:eek2: cant even dream to have one :spin2:

:

The multicolor especially looks great!! The only irritating part about these guys, is the aggression between them. My Potter's was fine with my Multibar for a long time and suddenly off late he's been getting extra bossy. Just shifted him out for the time being. Hope fully my Multibar recovers, but he's not looking very good. My favourite fish :(

I'm hoping to pick up a cherub and a healthy venustus.... looks like it's gonna be a long wait.... oh and then hope there's no aggression... not fun :(

Yes aggression is definately an issue and so is the rogue dwarf angel going after SPS. :hammer:
Adding juveniles at same time is an option...but then again you can never tell what will happen when they mature.

The Venustus angel...is a difficult angel to keep...brave choice :D I would advice it to be housed singly in a live rock filled mature dim lit reef tank. Doesnt tolerate aggression even in the slightest amount.

I am sure your multibar will do well since you have removed the aggressor...make sure he gets a good dose of vitamin enriched frozen food.

Well, aggression wasn't the issue.... seems like a bad case of fin rot and ick... lost the Multibar...... had it for 9 months now and was eating great! .... sucks

Care for the venustus and multibar is pretty much identical, I believe that its most important to get a juvenile so they can be weaned onto pellets. Now I'm back to the heartache of finding and feeding them..... gonna be a while...

What's the progress of the new tank?

Hi Bello,
Can relate with ya...losing a fish that has been with you for a while is just depressing...but nature does take its course...i guess.

Be patient my friend you will find the perfect fish :)

About the new tank....its research :reading: and decision time :headwally:...
Dimensions are set and iv selected the glass...
Now I am planning the cabinet design..where, what should go...
Also making equipment choices.

Stay tuned...:)

Hi Dani...
It's great to hear from ya bro.
I haven't tested the PAR on this lighting.
But Caroliniana is a deep water coral and prefers not so bright direct light. I have kept mine higher up on my tank but towards the back side of the tank. Its not under direct light. It sure does like the flow from my Vortech.
I had initially light acclimatized it, started low on the tank and gradually raised it to the current position.
It's a beautiful coral, I'm looking out for colour variants.
