BUILDING A DREAM....SPS Dominated Tank build

that was a great ride. loved the build and all the upgrades. it took me almost three hours to go through all the posts. well worth it. thanks

Why the secrecy? Why can't you post where you purchased the switch boxes?

Hi Sisterlimonpot,
There is no secrecy. I wouldn't be sending PM's to queries if I wanted to keep something secret.
Isn't posting commercial stuff on a non-commercial thread against RC rules?
I also wanted to keep my public posts non-commercial. I always reply in PM to queries like that and to the best of my ability.

Now I'm seeing some SPS!
Pretty stuff too.
Are those new or from your other tank?

Hiya Steve,
Thanks so much for viewing and your kind words my friend. These are new frags.
They are showing good polyp extension but colours I hope it gets better with time. I am just dosing the basic 3 of Zeovit.
After the 1st water change I will be experimenting with other Zeovit additives and try to strike a balance hopefully.
Since you had asked I have sold off the larger colonies of my SPS to generate some "moolah" for my new build. Taking care of 2 SPS tanks is taxing on all resources. My older tank is going softy with LPS.
Dream 2.0 will be SPS dominated :)

I don't think the secrecy is Reef Noob's intention. Those switches are made for regions with 220V outlets making them useless for us in the US.

I like your style Reef Noob, Great build!

Hello Snootch,
Thanks a lot for viewing and for the encouraging words. You got it right...
Thanks for the supporting comments :)

Hello corndog1212,
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking time to go through my journey. Glad you found it worthwhile. And you are welcome.

Hi Kevin,
:lol2: Are you calling me alien?
Ehhhlliioooot :D

:lol2: obviously those switches control some sort of plutonic power grid that use the LED lights as a beacon of communication between earth and your home planet. Im on to you! Wake up people!!! They are among us! :D

Hey, nice additions btw. I am looking forward to see how they react under your LEDs. I quite like them and if I ever upgrade mine I would concider these

Not necessarily, unless you stood to profit from giving out that information, it's perfectly fine.

That's understandable, however, I too would like a name or manufacturer of those regardless of 110v or 220v. (they're 100 times better than the american dj ones that we use here in the states) perhaps with a little inquiry we'd come to find that they do make a 110v model.

Thanks Kevin for the compliments. The SPS are looking okay and so far so good. I am a believer in LEDs :thumbs up:

Yep I prefer posting such non technical info thru PM.
Infact I did look at the ADJ products coz they were sleek and can be well integrated built into the cabinetry.

OK I give up, I would also like the name of the switch mfg, could you please PM
the name.... I am finishing up my 300 gal build and they look like a great addition..
