These are the supplies I got....I will start with the basic 3 first then the rest of the supplements will be used on a "need to tweak" basis.

I am so glad, excited and privileged to unveil and introduce a brand new equipment....for the first time ever the worlds gonna see it...:D
Just received it and here is a glimpse of it in all it's bubble wrap glory :D

This is my first attemp at a full blown Zeo tank.
I wanted a new challenge but keeping fingers crossed I can get it right.:crazy1:

:D Sorry for being childish with the suspenses. I always feel like a kid in this hobby and just my way of sharing my excitement :D

That looks awesommmmmmeeee! but sorry to be a reef noob, reef_noob, but is that just like another form of supplement reactor? Like more super spinach for popeye? and steroids for barry of the bonds?

Thanks for dropping by and for the compliments :)
Well what ya see above is a Automatic Zeolite Reactor, the basic difference between the automatic and manual reactor is that the daily pumping/agitation of Zeolite media is done automatically in the auto reactor. To be used with Zeovit method.

Manual Zeolite reactor models are manufactured by many companies, but Automatic reactors arent as common. That's why ZeoMATE by SI-AM is unique in its features and production with emphasis on functionality with ease of use.
This reactor is not something that was mashed up overnite but through a series of prototypes, tweaking various aspects and testing.

I am also a noob with the Zeovit method :D but researching, going thru forums plus great advices from hobbyists using the Zeovit method will be my armour :D
 
That reactor looks interesting Noob! How do you control the flow into the reactor? Is it done by adjusting that white dial on the front of the pump?

Don't forget to attach a pipe for the drain section at the top of the chamber. Then ensure the drain pipe is submerged below the water level in the sump to reduce the bubbles and don't have it near the return pump as this will help minimize bubbles entering the display tank.

Yep you are right...that white dial controls the water input into the reactor...pretty nifty idea right? And saves space and no extra valves needed.
Regarding the outlet plumbling....extra piping with a 90 degree elbow is provided which I will custom cut and attach to the outlet union when my sump is ready.

Thanks a lot for the pointers. Bubbles are a concern for me. Infact I was planning to keep the outlet near the return pump so that the mulm can be pumped back into the DT...hmm need to rethink that.
