Any time, Ted. Just give me 10 minutes notice so that I have time to comb my hair.Originally posted by reefrubble

Tom, looking great. No worries in curing that Marco Rock, those 2 reefflows you have should suck all the crud out and cure it up in, oh about 2 days! LOL!
I think your referring to the pics posted by tanya72806. Maybe she can comment on the lighting ...Originally posted by speeddemonlsr
Those are some nice pics are they with Blue leds?
Just so there's no confusion, the ballasts are from CoralVue. Yes there is a rheostat which adjusts the output from approx. 65% to 100%. I plan on using the dimming capability in two ways: 1. to adjust the color - the lower the output the bluer the color 2. the acclimation of new corals, etc. - this is easier than reprogramming my ACIII-Pro.Originally posted by Dave's Reef
... I'm curious about those "dimmable" galaxy ballasts you got... how will you be utilizing the dimming capabilities into the scheme of your photo period and just how do you take advantage of the dimming facet of the ballast? Is there some type of "reo-stat" type thing to do that with?
The stands are made from 3/8" acrylic sheet and 3/4" acrylic rod. I purchased both from www.freckleface.comOriginally posted by MO Will
I like the acrylic stands you made for the LR. Can you provide more details? What size rod? What size acrylic? Where did you get the acrylic? I have never worked with acrylic - are special tools required?
