Buildup of a 210 gallon Reef

Don't have time with the new baby...both fish died and the tank is just sitting there sucking energy.

Here is the stand and canopy with 3 coats of golden oak minwax stain.
there's some dude, a car and a bunch of houses in your tank! did it come like that? i'd ask for a refund if it did!

For the 210? Finish poly, paint the back of the doors, attach doors. Attach power centers. etc. I have a lot of work to do still. :(

A small layer of sand in the front I can easily replace is my current thought. Not sure if that is what I want though....

Not a fan of BB. Haven't you seen the pin: Barebottoms are for spanking not reefing. I can't link the image here due to the PG13 image... :D

I actually have an excel spreadsheet marking out everything I need to do still.

Here are some more pictures of my progress.

You can see the metal halide and parabolic reflector for the prop tank. I think the fuge will get enough light from this but I'm not quite sure....

looking really good, sorry finally jumped on board. Can't wait to get it going i want to know how those vortech pump work for you. I've been trying to figure out if i want those or tunze or go the cheap route with the seio's for my 280 in the works.. Also like u i got the asmg4x recic mod and gate valve mod think it be enough?

Hey yoboyjdizz,

I'm hoping the G4X is enough. :) The vortechs are very cool and I'll probably upgrade to them in time. I still haven't done a direct comparison with a tunze 6100 to see which is more powerful.

I can't say enough good about the tunze's. When I switched to them from SEIO's my tank lowered 4 degrees and that includes one of the pumps being the 6100 instead of 6000. Even when my house is 76 in the tank room the tank doesn't go over 80.2 with halides and no chiller. It was running 83 mostly with the SEIO's.

yeah im thinking on waiting another month and save money for the vortechs or tunze to save up enough money. I don't want to run a chiller my ac runs around 76-77 and i got a big fan in the room where my tank is going to go. So less heat will be a major plus and im hopping the g4x is enough my my 280 im sure it would do wonders for your 210!

Consider installed at least 3 fans in your canopy, I think that has helped me dramatically.

The tank move is sort of planned for this Sunday so I am trying to wrap up the little stuff.

Light switches are mounted:

To allow access to the fuge I have the switches on a hinge:

This is a shot from the inside:

If anyone can think of a way to cover that side feel free. Right now the cut is circular.

Finally, my extra halide is mounted:
