Calibrating refractometer

yeah that's what i calibrated ro/di to... just saying that the difference of measurement is .002 between each of these.... The difference quite big with Pinpoint fluid and RO/DI at .004... With aquacraft it's only .002 difference... not sure which one is most accurate but Tom Blevins uses RO/DI and his tank looks fantastic... Makes me worry that if you're going with Pinpoint, your tank may be too salty...

This is exactly what I'm talking about. I used ro/di for years with no probs. when trying to keep my salinity at 1.025 with aqua craft solution, my sps were not happy. That's why I though I would ask all of you.
 
i use pinpoint...
i had an older bottle (like 3 years old) that i was using and i thought i should probably get a new one. got the new one and it reads *exactly* the same as the new one.
good enough for me! at least i know my salinity is stable! (i think this is a more important factor, i figure anywhere between 023 and 028 and STABLE and you should be fine.)
