Here are some top downs, for some reason the side shots sucks so I'm sticking to just top downs.

Decided to graph my lighting schedule, so far it's been working great!

Color changes from 20K to 10K at peak time, and back to 20K at end of the day. I'm seeing great color and growth from my AI Sol Blue.

Tank looks great! Have any updated pics?

What is that blue acro on the very top of the rock, a hawkins echinata?

So I tried to get some pics tonight, I really need to invest in a better camera and some lenses...

First, yes I was lazy, you can see the film on the glass in this first shot, but to those who are still skeptical on the Algae Turf Scrubber, that is without cleaning the glass for 1 week.

Here are some more top downs...

So I have decided to take a stab at breeding my sexy shrimp... I'm not going to log it all in this thread, and not sure I want to start another log, but you can see what is going on here:

Out of curiosity, what is plumbed inline after your return pump? Never seen that piece of equipment before.

Clear check valve...

Nice looking corals.

Thanks!

Very nice.. you went from 30 to 100!!! Seen any effects?

Much better color on my SPS but some LPS are not taking it as well. I may go down a little and go longer, but not decided yet.

Looking very well there. :)

Thanks!

Great tank you got there!! your DIY work is amazing!! I would suggest you add a few gobies like Lotilia graciliosa (if you can locate a pair, even better) or Flabelligobius (sailfin gobies). These would be great in a tank this size. You can also go for Eviota or Trimma gobies.

Very nice build, Calvin! I just saw this build when you posted it in your custom tank build... I was sad to see that tank go, but it appears that the talent has not been wasted! Keep up the good work.

PS- Your algae scrubber is very inspiring, and I think I just may try to incorporate one into my tank.

I plan on using an over sized skimmer rated for 150g on my new 20DT/20Sump with possibly a ATS after seeing your results.

How well is your skimmer skimming and producing good skimmate?

Do you notice your LPS dull or not to their full potential due to the lack of nutrients in the water?

Thanks! Still working on a stocking list, part will come down to what I can actually get my hands on.

Thanks! Because my bio load has been so small, I just took the scrubber offline, it wasn't growing much and my corals have been looking stressed. Hoping they just are not getting enough fish poop. ;) Added a clownfish, and royal gramma for now to get some more poo. LOL

Skimmer doesn't produce a lot, I clean it about once every 3 weeks, but I'm not feeding much either currently. Just added a couple fish, so I'm hoping that will change. Yes, a lot of my LPS look terrible, and some of my SPS are looking dull. As posted above, I took my turf scrubber off line to try to put some nutrients back in the water.

so clean and sleak lovely build!

Thanks!

I saw that you were selling the AI. What are your new plans for lighting?

Decided to keep the AI for now. Going to try changing the nutrient levels, and see if it helps... Just couldn't decide on a light that would be better than the AI. I threw a 150w hqi with 20k bulb on the tank for a day, and I hated it. :( Blah! Once you go blue, it's all over. LOL

Nice tank, any plans for fish?

Thanks! Yeah, lots of ideas in my head, I'll post as I can get my hands on some of them. For now, I have a golden lawn mower blenny, percula clown, and royal gramma. We will see what else I can find...

Here is a pic of what the golden lawn mower blenny looks like, this isn't my pic but since I had never heard of this fish until I found mine, I figured I'd share. He eats anything that grows on the rock and glass, as well as prepared foods. :)
