Can I stock these wrasses in a 40g tank?

Hey guys,

Thinking of adding a wrasse to my Cadlights 40g setup (with 10g sump).

Considering the Labout's Fairy wrasse, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these fish. Also, the mystery wrasses look really awesome, but I've heard they can turn aggressive as they age.

The tankmates would be 2 false percs, a neon goby, and a tail spot blenny. Plenty of live rock and a tight fitting lid.

Do you guys think the Labout's would do OK in my 40g display? Liveaquaria lists the minimum tank size as 70 gallons, but the maximal size is 3.5 inches. I would think size wise, it would be fine.

A nice flasher wrasse would be better IMO. Fairy wrasses are always in the swim column and 40g is just too small. They are very active fish.

Tank size isn't only about the size of the fish. I don't know anything about Fairy wrasses, but flashers are cramped in a 3 ft long tank. Been there, done that. They stay small, but they're BIG swimmers when they're flashing...which is why you buy them, right?
