I know this thread is old, but there aren't many replies, so here is mine:

Unfortunately, it slowly browned out in my tank browning from the base up over about 6 weeks and continues to be a brown piece of poo (5 months later) with very little growth. This continues as the rest of my SPS thrive. I even gave a frag to friend who has a very nice Acro tank, and he cannot get any color out of it either.

ORA yellow fuzzy looks really similar, but i dont see many people with it.

Got this one straight from Karl back in the day Had a nasty case of that red poofy algae that wiped out about 90% of my corals (although I managed to frag the tips and save some) this one I literally saved a single corallite with no real hope of it growing out.. and bam it has, albeit its a tad crowded now.
