Carib Sea ocean direct brand question

SO I just got my tank up and running.IT is a 120G I put 80-lbs of the Caribsea ocean direct sand in the bottom. The tank has only been running for two days but I noticed that whenever I barely touch the sand bottom a big powdery bloom explodes. I got the aragonite which I thought was supposed to be bigger and would be so light. Can anyone advise if the sand is supposed to be this fine a powdery?

It is known for that, eventually it will settle down. You could put a small layer of heavier sand over it if you like.

I need to redistribute the sand a bit anyways will staring it u pa little help get rid of the really fine junk?

a bit. the dust will get caught by your filtration media, might as well do it now as if you wait for the tank to clear it will get all cloudy again.
