Carpet anemone vs emperor

bullitr

broke but happy
My emperor loves to nibble on my carpet anemone . It was 24" now its only 12-14". The carpet ate my female scribble a month ago while the female scribble and emperor was the only fish in the main tank so I think the emperor wants revenge. Anyway I feed the emperor a lot but he is a bottomless pit. Anyway can I stop the emperor from nibble on my carpet?
My tank is SPS dominant and anemones.
the emperor doesn't touch any corals at all but he hate that green carpet anemone. His face is green every night :( and I am getting red and blue carpet next week.

Thanks

It is unclear if the Imperator or the anemone will win the battle. One of them will, however.

This sucks the anemone are taking 2 of my favorite fish :(
I'd get rid of the nem, but I'm more of a fish focused guy. There is no right answer, just whichever you prefer. I would have kicked it out the second it took the scribbled, though. With that being said, carpets aren't important to me. They are to you. There's nothing wrong with either opinion.

Politiceaux has a good point, but honestly, I wouldn't keep any of those nems in a tank with fish that you care about. Large angels will pick on them, and they will eat what is clumsy enough to brush up against them. I won't risk it with any of my tangs. You could set up a separate tank tied into the same system for just the anemones and maybe clowns, but no other fish.

Carpet anemones (particularly Haddon's) are notorious fish eaters. Agree with Ami, I'd be reluctant to keep one in a tank where I had prized fish. I do keep a Ritteri in my main DT, but that has never eaten a fish. Unless you are willing to get rid of the angel, adding two more carpet anemones seems like a bad idea. If you must, definitely QT them first.
