Carpet anemone

I have a few questions...I saw a carpet anemone at my LFS and was wondering how I could be sure that it was a S. Haddoni. Also, will my black false percs host in it?

Can someone please reply..this is really important...I've read that the false percs don't often pair w/ the Haddoni, I was just wondering if it has happened to anyone

Some have hosted haddoni's but often times they end up getting eaten. FWIW, I would pass up in a Haddoni. Not to be rude, but since your not even sure what a Haddoni looks like, I would do some quick research about the different anemones out there and what types of clownfish host them. It doesn't hurt to learn. ;)

Here is a great website about anemones:

Here is also a great identification thread for anemones that I constucted:

BTW, I hope you were not planning on putting that Haddoni in your 12 gallon. Haddoni's can get over 2 feet in diameter.

I had heard that you have to look underneath around the foot for "bumps" to determine which is which. I didn't think that my clowns would host in it, I was just hoping to hear about cases in which it had happened. I was told that if that anemone is that main focus of my tank that it would be okay...guess it doesn't matter anyway..thanks for the reply...I really appreciate it...
