carpet anemones ( help)

i got one in jan and it was always stuck to something but in the last 2 weeks i some times come to the tanks and it is not stuck to
anything and floating around like in a warsher. and then i push
it to some thing to stick to and then its all right for a while.its eating like it has always.is it sick or could something be wrong.

I think something could be wrong.
What are your water parameters? What kind of lighting do you run? What other invertebrates are in your aquarium and how are they doing? Do you know what species of anemone you have?
