carpet anemones questions

so, i would really like to get one of these but want to know differant experiences with them before buying one. i have kept anemones before but never a haddoni so if anyone with experience can tell me about the care requirements i would greatly appreciate it. i currently have an 8 bulb 54 watt t5 lighting system in a 110 gallon tank. are there any specific haddoni's that are hardier than the others? also i'd love to see pics anyone is willing to share of theirs!

Assuming that you get a healthy one, I have found them pretty easy to keep. The first month is the hardest time, I have had a few that didn't end up making it past the first 4 weeks, not sure if it was an infection, or shipping stress related.

They prefer to have their foot in the sandbed, most of the time near the rock/sand interface. Non of mine are fond of lots of flow, can have a high flow tank, but need to find a low flow spot for them. They are sticky as all heck, and would never touch one without gloves. Some people have had issue with them ( Haddonis ) eating fish, I have been lucky, only lost 2 in 9+ years.

What Todd said, and one more word of warning. They can get quite large and pretty quick if fed regularly.

If the light isn't strong enough they will widen the distance between their tentacles to allow more light to reach their zooxanthellae. If you see this, you should probably bump up the lighting a little bit. Not too much though.

anny specific type of clowfish that will host them? right now i have a tomato but i would like to get a pair of somthing, the orange skunk clowns are really starting to grow on me.
