Carpet anenomes!?!?!?

Im starting to second guess this guy. Hes doing awesome but just ate my trigger. Anyone else have a carpet that can convince me to keep it.

I think this is the wrong section for this question but I'd say it's up to you. It comes down to whether you'd rather have fish or the carpet. If you keep the carpet, understand that some of your fish may vanish.

Carpet anemones are notorious fish eaters, you should research before buying.

I like to keep the most aggressive clowns with fish eating anemones, because they tend to keep other fish away from danger. One always has to wonder if the fish was ill or something which allowed for the mishap. Triggers usually dont get eaten as their thick skin and sharp teeth are a good defense. However they do silly things all the time and are curious- so....

Man i love mine, but he has eaten so many fish i can't count them anymore, i keep saying i am going to get rid of him but they look awesome. good luck

Im with you kevin. Ill probably keep it and keep buying fish. Im going to try buying another clown or two and hopefully they acclimate to it and keep other fish away
