Caulerpa & Cheato In Same Refuge

I currently have both Caulerpa & Cheato in my Refuge & both seem to be growing but I havn't thinned it out as of yet. I dont have a small powerhead down there just the flow of the tank to sump process. I turn it by hand every couple of days. Any thoughts or advice greatly welcomed here.

I did the same for a while until the caulerpa really started rooting in the Cheato, I like feeding caulerpa to my tangs and it was impossible to not get the Cheato in the main DT. Never posed a problem but not nutritious enough for the tangs so rather not have them digesting it. I have since separated the two. Also over time the Caulerpa became really dense and would begin to change color as well so required more turning of the cheato ball. Just my experiences.
