Here are some new pictures. I know this is going rather slowly lately but I am working on this in between other projects and I have been delayed mostly because of 3rd party work related to the tank. But hopefully the pace is picking up :)

Here are 24 meters of air duct pipes, two blowers, mufflers, filter box and a mix of various other things.

Railing for the water return to the tank, air duct pipes and cables.

The railing coming into the fish room.

Meet the carpenters last Thursday and they said they would be coming next week to do the canopy and covering of the bottom half.

Amazing.

When I die, Im gonna have my skeleton shipped to Iceland so you can put my bones in your reef.

I'd be a proud soul.

Hmmmm... I think that's an image I could have done with out!! LOL

Streight outta Davey Jones lockarrrrrrrr!!!!

Seriously though. I make like 10k a year... A tank this large I can only dream about.... and when I do dream about it I'm sparing with rhinopus.

It is just an amazing Aquarium setup and only something many of us get to dream about. Please let me know how the Deltec Eco-Cooler's work. I'm interested in one for my 150 gallon Reef.

Ok guess I have learned something new then. I've always figured that the bacteria are specific to LR and normal South Dakota air would not provide them.

With LR I live by the rule if you put it in you'll have to take it out...so if your unsure whats on your rock it maybe better in some cases to use dry base rock with some other established rock from another one of your own tanks. It all looks the same after 9 months IMO

you can't hurry a project like this...that's the great part about watching this build. Careful thought in design, materials, and functionality.

Its better to take your time and get it done the way you want it. Its much better than thinking "i wish i did this instead" etc...

True! Great advice I think we see that in my thread too. Careful planning discussion and more planning :D
