Check out what I saw at a LFS.

I pickup the Choati wrasse this afternoon. I also bought the male Watanabei too, as he was eating when they fed him today when I was there.. I have both of them in QT instead and will treat them with prazipro tomorrow.

was the semifactus there , sold or dead?

It was still there, it looked a little better today, at least it's head was facing down like when I first saw her the other day and she was a little more active today. But still didn't look very healthy, I think it also have a few spots on its fins and tail.

Glad you went the QT route on the wrasse and angel. The tub of sand is how I always handled them in QT. Good luck. Beautiful fish.

The Choati came out from the sand this afternoon, fed them some mysis and Choati started eating, and the Watanabei also started eating after seeing the Choati ate. They seem to like the PE Mysis. I didn't get any new picture as the Choati went back into the sand shortly after eating.

I added Prazipro to the QT last night. Here's the only decent picture I took with my phone when they were first in the QT.

they look great, what size qt?

It's only a 28gal Nano Cube. I know it's too small for the Watanabei as I mainly use it to QT wrasses. I try get all bigger fish from a friend's store that can QT for me in copper and prazipro. Hopefully I will only need to QT them in prazipro for a week or so, the other tank that I can use if I need to QT with copper is only a 20long.

The Watanabei was still eating great yesterday, but I didn't see the Choati last night after I got home. I knew the Choati was out for a bit as the sand in the tubberware was stirred up. Hopefully the Choati will adjust to the light schedule soon, so I can feed him.

I've had the same issues with leopards adjusting to the light schedule. What I did was for the first week I've set an alarm and wake up in the middle of the night to feed the fish.

You want him to keep his feeding habits going and not reverting to hunting pods for food. It'll be a tough week for you but it'll pay off.

i bet he is scared by the large angel and thats why he isnt coming out in the am. he should be adjusted to the light schedual by now. mine adjusted in 1 day. it wasnt a choati tho.
