Chinese LED Lights

My tank is 60 inches .. a 24" unit will cover A 36 inch long area so 2 will be plenty of coverage ...

Travis,
How well do you think the IT2060 will do over 3'? I was planing on getting 2 of the IT2080 (32") for my 6' long 180g. Do you think 2 of the IT2060 (24") would cover it?

Hey guys. So I have had my D120 custom from evergrow for about a week now. The whites just stopped working tonight. I tried switching the wires around to see if it was a wire plug or something but that didn't fix it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Mike :)

Sry to hear mike I'm useless there but I'm sure bhaz will help you out ...

@ron.... they claim the 2060 will cover a 36 inch area .. so one will cover a 3' tank perfect

And a 6 foot tank should be fine with 2 2060s , 36 and 36 is 72"/6 feet... but if your worried about it and want plenty of coverage then get 2 2080 but they are supposedly able to cover a 48" area i believe so 2 would be pleanty for your tank if not too much

I'm talking with Sunny now. She walking me through some things now. I guess its the driver. I dunno. I depth power writes around inside and side fans shaking in stead of turning. Can't get white side to work. Ugh.

Tell them. They can send you a new driver.

I dunno. It looks kinda tricky (for a non electrical guy). But I tried switching some writes around and just couldn't get the whites to work. The white switch works the blues and the blue switch works three blue, but when I switch them the other way the whites won't work. I Dino. I furs I'll wait to see what they say.
Oh well...

Thanks Travis,

My 180g is 6" but I have an 18" wide, thick, frosted glass center brace. I originally was going to do 4 of the D120's. But I think the IT2080's will run from the outside ends of the tank and overhang the center brace by 5"-7". I'm hoping that by having 5"-7" of the brace on either side with lights trying to shine thru will be better than the D120 hanging just off the edge of the brace. At least that's my current thinking. Anybody have any other ideas?

Looks like reefbreeders has the 32in it2080 in stock. Im going to purchase one for my 120 mixed reef. Whats everyones opinion on the it2080? Would 90 degree lenses work with a 15 in high canopy? or would you go 120 degree lenses?

The moon lights are tech on the same channel as the blues .... they run with the blues at all times and when your blue channel gets to 5% on all the blues kick off and and 5% and under just the 3 moons run and its labeled as a 3rd channel but tech I don't think it cause it runs with channel 2

thanks for the info, ive been trying to get a hold of either evergrow and reefbreeders and they just dont respond to pms.

I just ordered one of the 32" fixtures (it2080) from Reefbreeders. For those of you that have ordered from reefbreeders in the past, did you get an order confirmation email from them? So far all I've gotten is a receipt from PayPal.

I just got the pay pal thing as well but it says what I ordered in it... says 2 customized units 340 each ... and there company name is on it ... so in not worried too much

ive tried contacting reefbreeders and they havent replied to my emails or pm. as for evergrow's alie express site, i havent seen it anywhere on there

If you just google evergrow LED the direct site will come up..

I've been having issues trying to get some warranty pieces sent to me from sunny. At first was prompt with responses when I wanted to buy LEdS than when I stated my violets were flickering (2) then noticed some were burnt looking he stopped responding. I will def be ordering from reefbreeders for my upcoming build if I don't DIY one myself. Thinking of doing a Multichip/Cree combo instead.. It will be under the canopy of my 150 so I don't need it to be super pretty.

evergrow is having a Christmas sale starting the 26th for the d120s $159 for the standard white and blues. $169 for the custom ones. that's the price with lenses.
I thought about ordering from reefbreeders but its $30 more for each of them once you get optics on them. they included some extra leds for me but I asked because I'm Modding a light for the sump for my cheato. even if I had to buy them they were only 50 cents each 6500k's 5000k's 450nm's and some reds. Im not worried if an led Burns out as there easy to change and don't cost to much. as long as the drivers don't fail but even than I think Someone said there around $20. still cheaper than single bulb for a t5 or led setup.
