I've been looking at a lot of build threads and noticed I really like the look of T5's. I don't want to switch to a full T5 setup, instead I'm going to supplement my LED with T5. I purchased a 2 bulb DIY kit that are 36" in length. I've been doing a lot of reading as to which color bulbs to get, which was not easy due to each tank being different. I ordered 2 ATI blue plus and figured I could adjust the color a little with my LEDs or just switch bulbs but blue plus seem to be pretty popular. I plan to start off at 30min and increase 30min a week until I get to around 4-5 hours max run time on the T5's. Keeping my fingers crossed and hope this isn't a dumb decision and I see good results!

ohhh ok.

hey also wanted to say. how is the pump working out. im sooo wanting to get one.

It's working out great so far! It's the only pump I have in the tank right now and it's creating some serious flow. I may get a second one to put on the other end. I feel like the 130 has some issues getting across the full 4' length. I think I may be happier with running 2 at a lower %.

wow ok. so if you are having flow issues on a 4' tank. then I know I will on a 6' tank. do u think the 150 will work better.

More cell pics... I need to go buy a tripod so I can finally start taking decent pictures with my Nikon.

Found what I would consider a unique looking scoly which is one of my favorite corals and one of the reasons I wanted to get a saltwater tank. Why it's taken me so long to get one I don't know, guess I'm just too picky!

Definitely not the brightest thing in the world but I fell in love with it right when I saw it. Maybe it'll brighten up under LEDs who knows but either way I'm excited about this one.

I also picked up a second clam, a derasa, which I also though had a unique pattern to it. It hasn't fully opened up yet so I'll post pictures of that later on.
