great news about the trigger :D Do you have a current full tank shot?

No current tank shot but I hope to take a bunch of pictures on thursday, so I'll see what I can do. ;)

I caught my Marble Sea Stars close together today so I had to snap some pictures.

Added March 5th and doing well so far:

So I snapped a few pictures yesterday...

My trigger is doing well but he still will only eat from a turkey baster. Atleast I'm not worried about his health anymore, and I'm sure he'll come around to eating pellets and Nori.

I got a crazy flu a week or so ago and it took a lot out of me which resulted in very little attention to my tank. I was able to pick up some more SPS frags and Zoa frags which I hope to take some pictures of shortly.

While playing with my camera I figured out some settings that will allow me to take better pictures of my corals. (Manual White Balance) The full tank shot below is sort of a test of this as I was playing around with the settings.

Anyways, on to the pictures:

This shot shows the corals well but the color is off. It's more what it would look like if I was running 10K halides with no actinics. IRL it's more blue.

This probably got answered a few posts ago, but, what kind of Trigger is that?

Hey guys.. this thread badly needs an update. I hope to do so early in the week. Good news is that I've started (with the help of a friend) a website version of this thread. Should make things easier to find as this thread gets bigger.

wow really nice pictures!! Although some one needs to do a little coraline scraping lol I like the way the black sand looks, but i'm not willing to do the maintance on it lol How do you keep the black sand looking clean?

RonBuck,
It's a Bluethroat trigger (xanthichthys auromarginatus).

Thats what I thought. They are said to be reef safe, am I correct?
