Clam Bleaching/Stressed

I've had this guy in my 90g for a few months now. Unfortunately, my two Clownfish have taken up residence directly over the clam. Since they have been bugging Mr. Clam all the time, the outer fringe of his mantle has begun to bleach. He also doesn't react to light changes as frequently because of the constant light changes of the fish swimming directly on top of him. The clam sits under a 150 10k Halide and PC actinics. However, it does appear to be showing some growth on the shell. What can I do about it? Before and after:

you need to put a mag float in there for the clowns to host


it would be best to try and keep them away from the clam. while some of the larger species of tridacnid will allow clowns to host ( not as jumpy ) i have never seen a crocea do this. i think this is going to be way to stressful for the clam. try moving the clam and his rock or even covering the clam with half a pop bottle ( with some holes for flow ) to try and keep them away. hopefully they will then find something else to host.

Move them clam away from the clown fish they stay in one area most of the time very Territorial and should not follow it. I almost lost my blue squamosa because of my clowns the same way as you. good luck.
