I have a ocellaris clown that is starting to use a Squamosa clam as itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s home, so far the clam is ok, but I wonder if a continuos bothering from the fish is going to cause a problem in the future,
anyone out there had or heard of something like this?

Yeah I've heard of it and yes it could stress out the clam if it's openings become blocked by the clown . You might try a terra cotta pot for a solution . My brother has his percula clowns hosting in his pot by some live rock . That's been their home for over a year now and they seldom leave it accept for feeding and the occasional tour of the tank at night. Hope that helps and Good Luck .
