clown jerking/trembling motion

I have 2 of clowns, they have not mated but I think they have paired up pretty good. One is a little bigger than the other (female?) and the other is smaller(male?). When feeding just a few mins ago, I was watching them and the smaller clown kept doing this jerking motion almost like severe trembling. Is this normal or could there be something wrong with it?

Sweet. :)

So... I have them pegged as which is the female and the male right?

I wanted to make sure this was normal because recently I had to QT 2 of my chromis for wierd leigions/raw spots. Everything else in the tank is doing fine. I'm starting to think its the emerald crab that is a little big that may be the culprit of the chromis problems. The other day I saw him try and attack my bi-colored blenny.

You might want to consider getting a voltmeter to check for stray current in the tank. Hopefully it just a little mating dance though!

also check your nitrites
sometimes if you have nitrites in the water it can effect the fishes neurological system, but more than likely they jsut want to get it on
