Clown loosing color

My Onyx percula male has lost a good portion of the color on his front dorsal fin. it looked as though the female had torn a chunk out, but on further examination, the flesh is stil their, its just a gaping hole of translucence amid the black.

Any ideas?

Nope.

It has recently taken up to hosting some algae.

It is stil lacting the same, still breeding, and the color everywhere else is just as vibrant.

I have some largish aptasia, could they be the culprit?

Diet could also be a possibility.

What should I be focusing on for the black coloration?

I feed frozen enriched with selcon. Brine shrimp enriched with selcon and macro algae. oceans nutrition brine shrim flakes. ORa glow. reef caviar.

If he's still eating fine and is active, I wouldn't have a concern. Maybe a picture would help more.
