Clowns acting "strange", possibly about to breed?

I wanted to know what signs I will see if my clowns are about to breed and make sure its not something wrong.

The male keeps swimming around the female and not like normal. He sort of spins in the water like a somersault or something. He has also been doing the little convulsive shaking thing alot the past few days. He will swim around the female and "convulse" if you will. It kind of worried me at first because he would do it every 30 seconds or so for 20-30 minutes then swim off back to his hangout by my big frogspawn.

I'm not real sure what to make of it but I thought maybe some experts could give me some re-assurance that he is ok.

I've had them almost 2 years together from maybe a year old. So they are about 3'ish years old.

Yeah I think its about time they will start to spawn. Congrats! Mine always start picking at rocks the days leading up to the spawn, especially the male.

Awesome!

Do they typically lay eggs on the rockwork or what should I look for?

Total newb to this so forgive me.

there will be a bright orange patch where they were cleaning. before spawning you will see the females ovipositor extended. they might start cleaning some time before actually laying though.

My female is the rock cleaner of my pair. She typically starts about a day or two before the spawn.
