Clowns are in my condy

I knew the condy wasn't a natural host when I got it 6 months ago, but I came home last night to my pair for B&Ws nestled in comfortably. The male skedaddled when the first flash went off, but the female stayed.

Clearly they haven't read the literature that says they shouldn't be living there :)

my true percs were hosted by my green condy which was much bigger than yours. the tentacles reached up to 7 inches when fully expanded. also my male was only almost an inch when he first went in. the tentacles did react to the clown's touch for a little while but eventually it just accepted them in and they slept in it every night.

since the tentacles never stuck to the clowns (and they were very sticky) i didnt worry about it eating them and it never did. the only downside was the occasional sting but since your clowns are black you wont have to worry about seeing it. imo just keep an eye on it and make sure the condy isnt trying to wrap it's tentacles around them like they are food and hopefully things will work out for you.

it was a big decision for me to remove my condy since it's such a unique pairing but i had to for the safety of my corals
